Natalie Massenet Advances Online Retail

Hi Love!

It only takes 15 years to build a fashion empire. Natalie Massenet is the founder of Net A Porter, a global fashion retailer that is headquartered in London. Net A Porter is operated as an online magazine and has nearly 3 million visitors to the site per month. Natalie is an american born former journalist that launched Net A Porter from her apartment in Chelsea. She sold the company in 2010 and is now an investor and executive chairwoman but the question is how did she do it?

Net A Porter is valued at 533 million but of course to get the company to that level there were many years of dedication and hardwork. Natalie attend UCLA, studied English, worked as model and stylist in Tokyo and also worked at Women's Wear Daily. To launch Net A Porter, she got a lot of help from her ex-husband who contributed to the 1.2 million she needed in start-up costs.

Lesson to take from Natalie: You are your own competition.

Now Offering Paternity Leave

Hi Love!

Founder Amy Prenner-Corralez developed STORK PR to provide an alternative for hardworking parents. To fill in the gaps on gender inequality concerning maternity leave, STORK PR was created as the go to agency for women helping women that were taking at least 2-4 months off from work. Prenner-Corralez felt a need to respond to the challenge of securing trusted and talented individuals for part-time and/or full-time support servicing agencies, studios, and production companies during a woman's most emotional time: childbirth and raising a family.

Amy Prenner-Corralez comments, "Workforce trends are changing. There has been an increase in the women’s labor force, particularly among women with young children. Extending leave generally leads to better retention rates for women so the message is clear and long overdue: American companies are finally understanding that employees with families require more flexibility. To keep them happy in their current work situations, employers need to step up quickly in fields of PR, social media and production, and that is where I come in with talented staff you can trust. Our employees are professional and have experience working in all capacities of public relations and marketing. They are schooled in all aspects of the business and can take on any type of workload. We have mid-level to senior level talent on hand to ensure your projects will be handled."

With more and more men adopting babies, the need for paternity leave is here and Stork PR offers Paternity Leave.
